Seriously though. Grandma Pat needs to live/work at Disney forever so she can help with my proposal. Or at least walk me and my fiance around the park ringing her bell. I NEED THIS.
Ok this video made me cry. But I also have to give a shout out to Grandma Pat. Pat is one of the sweetest, most wonderful women I’ve ever worked with. She makes it her life’s work and goes well out of her way to make these kind of magical moments for guests. She treats her cast members like we were her own family. When I worked my very last day at Storybook Land, she went with me on my boat and took pictures for me while I spieled.
Then she surprised me on my last boat trip of the day, when I came back into the dock she had grabbed her giant bell that she uses for engagements, ringed it for everyone to hear, and shouted to all the guests standing in line that it was my last boat trip and encouraged everyone to applaud. So I was in emotional tears as I unloaded my last boat ever with everyone cheering for me. She then gave me tons of free goodies, cookies, and hugs.
Every time I see her now at the park I still get a big hug from her.
Must always reblog Disneyland proposals. I want to meet Grandma Pat!
